The Illinois Law Enforcement Administrative Professionals (IL LEAP) founded in February, 1999, when a group of 19 Administrative Assistants from DuPage County gathered for the purpose of encouraging communication among Police Chiefs' secretaries and support staff.

 

The purpose of the Association is to provide a forum for the Police Chiefs' Administrative Assistants and support staff to exchange information, knowledge and discuss matters of mutual interest. It is our goal to facilitate training and share education opportunities.

 

 IL LEAP currently has over 100 agencies in our Association, with over 120 professionals in our membership.
